HubSpot + Smart AI Workspace

The CRM I integrate with most for smaller B2B teams. I close the gap between 'a lead exists' and 'the right person is talking to them with context' — enrichment, qualification, routing, and follow-up.

How I use HubSpot

HubSpot is the CRM I integrate with most often for smaller B2B teams. The work is usually about closing the gap between 'a lead exists' and 'the right person is talking to them with context' — enrichment, qualification, routing, and follow-up that currently depends on someone remembering to do it.

I connect through HubSpot's API with a private app scoped to only the objects the workflow touches. Everything writes back into HubSpot so it stays your source of truth — the automation adds notes, properties, and tasks rather than living in a separate system.

Claude handles the judgement calls: is this lead a fit, what does this email actually mean, what should the first reply say. HubSpot workflows and the API handle the rest.

HubSpotis rarely the whole system — it's one connected piece of a workflow I scope, build, and run end to end. See how I build automation or read what AI automation actually costs in 2026. Curious what your manual version costs today? Estimate it with the ROI calculator.

What I automate with HubSpot

  • Enrich new contacts and companies from public data before a rep ever sees them
  • Qualify inbound leads against your ICP and route them to the right owner and pipeline
  • Draft first-touch and follow-up emails for rep approval, logged to the contact timeline
  • Keep deal data in sync with finance, delivery, and reporting tools

Example workflows I build

01

Inbound lead to routed opportunity

A form fills in HubSpot. The workflow enriches the company from public sources, Claude scores it against your written ICP, and a fit lead is assigned to the right rep in the right pipeline with a drafted first-touch email attached as a task to approve.

02

Reply intent detection

When a prospect replies to a sequence, Claude classifies the intent — interested, not now, wrong person, unsubscribe — updates the deal stage or creates a task, and drafts the appropriate response for the rep.

03

Stale deal nudges

Deals with no activity past your threshold are summarised by Claude from the timeline, and the owner gets a Slack message with the context and a suggested next step — not just a 'this deal is stale' alert.

HubSpot integration FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which HubSpot tier do I need?
Most of what I build works on Starter or Professional via the API. Some native workflow actions need Professional; I'll tell you upfront if a build depends on a specific tier.
Will this create duplicate contacts?
No. Workflows match on email and company domain before creating anything, and I test dedupe behaviour against your actual data before go-live.
Do the AI-drafted emails send automatically?
Only if you want them to. The default is draft-and-approve — the rep sees every message before it goes out. You can move specific low-risk steps to auto-send later.
Can you work with our existing HubSpot workflows?
Yes. I map what's already running, avoid stepping on it, and document how the new automation interacts with your native workflows.
